This job is located in Middleton, NS and surrounding areas within the Annapolis Valley.
Working at heights is a requirement and a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
All new hires are required to pass a criminal records background check and sign an employee contract.

What you will learn!
-Prepare surfaces before painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching holes or cracks.
-Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
-Ensure proper mixing and matching of colors for seamless and consistent results.
-Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during all painting tasks.
-Work efficiently and effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
-Collaborate with the team and communicate with project managers to ensure smooth workflow and client satisfaction.
-Inspecting, maintaining and cleaning painting tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
-Proven experience as a painter with a strong portfolio of past projects.
-In-depth knowledge of various painting techniques, materials, and tools.
-Ability to work with different types of paint, stains, and finishes.
-Detail-oriented with excellent color perception and attention to precision.
-Strong physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including standing, bending, and lifting.
-Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
-Reliable and punctual, demonstrating a strong work ethic.
-Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
