As an apprentice painter, you will be an integral part of our team. You will be learning from highly skilled professional painters how to deliver top-notch painting services to our residential and commercial clients.
This job is located in Middleton, NS and surrounding areas within the Annapolis Valley.
Working at heights is a requirement and a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
All new hires are required to pass a criminal records background check and sign an employee contract.
-Competitive compensation based on experience and performance. Apprentice painters will be paid $18 – $20 hourly to start. If you learn and work hard, you won’t stay at that wage long.

What you will learn!
-Prepare surfaces before painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching holes or cracks.
-Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
-Ensure proper mixing and matching of colors for seamless and consistent results.
-Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during all painting tasks.
-Work efficiently and effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
-Collaborate with the team and communicate with project managers to ensure smooth workflow and client satisfaction.
-Inspecting, maintaining and cleaning painting tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Bonuses:
-Mileage reimbursement if using your own vehicle to travel to and from job locations. Anything over 30 km each way will be reimbursed at a rate of $0.40 per km.
